Finding Christ In All Things: 5

OVERVIEW
Can I go anywhere apart from Your Spirit? Is there anywhere I can go to escape Your watchful presence? If I go up into heaven, You are there. If I make my bed in the realm of the dead, You are there. If I ride on the wings of morning, if I make my home in the most isolated part of the ocean, Even then You will be there to guide me; Your right hand will embrace me, for You are always there.
Psalm 139:7-10

I will be with you, day after day, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:20

The fullness of joy is to behold God in everything.
Julian of Norwich

As we enter a new season, a new school year, and the rhythms that re-emerge with the transition from summer break, we’re giving ourselves to a shared experiment designed to help us see the presence of Christ in all of life. And the process is simple. Begin and move through each day with the associated psalm and question in view, noting your responses to the daily question in whatever format you prefer. Then, either daily, or every few days, share your responses with the rest of Kaleo via the form labeled "Share Your Experience" on the homepage, or through our Facebook page.

5: SEPTEMBER 7
God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help. So why run and hide? No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. Even in heavy winds and huge waves, or as mountains shake, we are sure and fearless.
Psalm 46:1-3

Q: How are you recognizing Christ’s presence and activity in the midst of today’s chaos - personal, relational, societal, global?
